Borussia Dortmund chief reveals Jadon Sancho talks amid Manchester United transfer speculation

Manchester United are eyeing a move for Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has ruled out the possibility of Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho this summer.
Sancho is among United’s top targets with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to bolster his attacking options ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and the Red Devils have reportedly been quoted £70million for the 19-year-old winger.
However, it’s claimed the Red Devils may have to stretch to £100m for Sancho if they are to tempt Dortmund into selling the young England international. Sancho has become a key figure for Dortmund in his first full season with the German giants, notching up eight goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund will not allow Sancho to leave without a fight and chief executive Watzke believes the teenager will stay at the club, with all parties having discussed his future. ‘We will not sell him, that is fact,’ Watzke told Eurosport Germany. ‘It is clearly discussed with every person who is involved that Jadon plays in the next season for BVB.’
Asked about Sancho’s links to United, Watze replied: ‘I don’t care about that. Everybody knows that Jadon will play for us next year. ‘That’s a fact and we don’t have a price tag for him. And because everybody in Europe knows that nobody contacted us.’
